A special guest at TTM 2026 – the Museum of Old Tools and Machines named after Hipolit Cegielski
The Automotive Technology Fair is, above all, a look into the future of the industry—new technologies, digitalization, and electromobility. But this year, TTM will also offer a moment to reflect on where the industry comes from. In Pavilion 8A, at stand no. 24, GASPAR – the Museum of Old Tools and Machines named after Hipolit Gaspar Cegielski will present its exhibition.

Saving what cannot be recreated
The museum’s mission is simple, yet unique—to preserve from oblivion, and from the scrapyard, old tools and machines that served generations of craftsmen and mechanics for decades. The collection, built over the years, includes hand tools such as wrenches, pliers, screwdrivers, saws, and measuring instruments, as well as historic hand-operated, bench, and column drills, along with models from former school workshops. These are objects that remember times when a workshop meant above all the precision of hands and experience passed down from master to apprentice.
Hipolit Cegielski – the man who built Poznań
A separate part of the exhibition is dedicated to memorabilia related to Hipolit Cegielski—a 19th-century social activist, publicist, organicist, and industrialist, founder of the HCP (Hipolit Cegielski Poznań) works. The collection features original HCP products—agricultural machinery, gramophones, razors, tools, and pumps—as well as medals, documents, and archival publications. It is a piece of the history of Poznań and the Wielkopolska region that rarely appears at industry exhibitions.
The museum is also part of the Organic Work Trail—a route dedicated to this unique Greater Poland movement for independence and the people who embodied it.
Among hundreds of stands showcasing the latest technologies, it is worth taking a moment to stop by stand no. 24 in Pavilion 8A. Because to know where you’re going, it helps to know where you came from.
