For years, the Poznań International Fair has been a meeting place for the most important export industries in Poland. In 2026, events such as MEBLE POLSKA, BUDMA, ITM Industry Europe, and DREMA will take place here – these are events that build the global recognition of Polish industry. Thanks to the Hosted Buyers program, professionals and trade partners from all over the world come to Poznań, and the trade fairs become a real platform for international business contacts. Today, MTP Group is responsible for 51% of the exhibition market in Poland, and its broad and diversified portfolio, including the entertainment, industry, construction, and services segments, makes the company resilient to crises and fluctuations in the economic situation.

Events for the General Public are Passion, Emotions, and Trends

Among B2C events, a key place is held by events that gather record audiences. The Poznań Book Fair attracts over 70,000 readers. In turn, Poznań Game Arena is the largest gaming and multimedia entertainment fair in this part of Europe, which throughout its history has gathered a community of over 600,000 fans. The automotive future and history meet during the Poznań Motor Show and Retro Motor Show, while Rybomania and LOOK & BeautyVision show how to effectively combine business, education, and passion, creating events that can be considered icons of their industries.

"We look at the competition not only in Poland but also abroad. Every one of our events undergoes a thorough verification – we check which proposals are more popular, which are less, and what novelties are appearing on the market. Competition is an impulse for development for us, it inspires us to even greater creativity, raising the quality of the events we organize, and looking for new, attractive solutions for visitors and exhibitors," emphasizes Filip Bittner, Vice-President of the Management Board of MTP Group.

Sports at a World-Class Level

MTP Group remains one of the largest partners and co-organizers of sporting events in Poland. In 2026, the following will return to Poznań: the 18th PKO Poznań Half Marathon, the 24th Lotto Poznań Maraton, Wings for Life World Run, and Iron Man. A novelty will be HYROX – a dynamically developing discipline combining functional training with running. For another year in a row, the space of the Poznań International Fair will also host the Perlage CAVALIADA Tour, the largest equestrian event in this part of Europe, which attracts the best competitors in this discipline from Poland and Europe, as well as crowds of fans, to Poznań and other cities. Perlage CAVALIADA Tour is a unique space where sport combines with tradition, and the passion for horses with a sporting discipline engaging people of various ages.

Culture, Concerts, and Festivals

In 2026, over 50 concerts have been planned in the spaces of the Poznań International Fair; they will take place in the Earth Hall and exhibition pavilions. Artists performing on the stages will include Kortez, Kayah, Varius Manx, Kwiat Jabłoni, Artur Rojek, Edyta Bartosiewicz, and Mała Armia Janosika. There will also be no shortage of cabaret and comedy events, such as the Polish Cabaret Night or a performance by Kabaret Neo-Nówka. Among festivals, Pyrkon invariably reigns supreme – the largest fantasy festival in Poland; traditionally, MTP Group will also support the Grand Finale of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity (WOŚP).

Congresses and Conferences of Global Significance

MTP Group is also an important operator of business, technological, and scientific events. The largest of them remains IMPACT’26, which gathers approximately 8,000 participants from all over the world. In 2026, the International Congress of the Polish Cardiac Society, EFFoST – a prestigious conference of the European Federation of Food Science and Technology, and IN.SE.CON dedicated to cybersecurity and breakthrough technologies will also be held at the Poznań International Fair. Also noteworthy are the MOVE Congress, Greenpact – European ESG Summit, and the LocalTrends local government events.

At the same time, MTP Group will begin intensive preparations for the International Astronautical Congress IAC 2027, which will return to Poland after over 60 years, becoming a huge promotional opportunity for our country. Thousands of experts, scientists, business leaders, and representatives of all space agencies will come to Poznań, and they will have the opportunity to learn about, among other things, Poland's achievements in the field of space technologies, scientific research, and innovation.

Trade Fairs as a Strong Impulse for the Development of Poznań

Events organized by MTP Group have a measurable impact on the local economy. Financial data shows record hotel occupancy during the largest fairs and congresses, and a report prepared by Mastercard regarding Pyrkon confirms a nearly 23-percent increase in spending by its participants at local businesses. The largest increase was recorded in the immediate vicinity of the fairgrounds, but the participants' spending also had an impact on the entire urban economic ecosystem.

The impact of the Poznań International Fair's activities on higher revenues in the hotel industry and the development of the local economy is evidenced by data from the Poznań Local Tourist Organization. For example, the one-day revenue of Poznań hotels during IMPACT CEE in 2025 amounted to 802,291 Euro, which is almost 3.5 times more than the annual average. At the top of the ranking for the highest price for a hotel room in a business standard (3 stars and more), besides IMPACT (198.63 Euro) and PYRKON (168.04 Euro), there are also business fairs organized by MTP Group, namely ITM Industry Europe, BUDMA, MEBLE POLSKA, and DREMA.

For example, hotel room occupancy during this year's MEBLE fairs was a record 99.1%, which means that almost all available accommodation places in Poznań hotels were occupied during these fairs. A similar situation took place during the POLAGRA fair.
